Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon into the early evening, with the peak severe threat will be 4 PM - 10 PM. The main hazard will be wind gusts up to 65 mph. In addition there is a small threat for hail to 1 inch in diameter along with possibly a brief/weak tornado. In addition a threat for locally heavy rain will exist with minor flooding possible north of I-70.
